Well done it sounds like your 'Switched on' to these box's and problems.
Aerial signal was much easier to diagnose when it was analogue, ie snow on the picture or even a background of another channel at the same time (if its too strong). Its not so easy with a digital transmission. But that's what we have now.
However Humax Technical should inform customers just what is going on. Customers shouldn't have to email My5 after paying £200 for a new Humax Recorder.
Once again the Panasonic Box I've purchased is not as user friendly, but you get used to all the new 'oddities' in time. And time will tell if its as reliable as my old Humax Box. Generally Panasonic Tvs and VCRs were very reliable when I was dealing with them, I expect the new box I've purchased will be as good.
