Have just phoned up Humax about this problem - my iplayer wouldn’t load yesterday & they are clearly aware of it - the message says they are aware of problem & are working on it. (I phoned the Humax helpline on 0344 318 8800). So having done factory reset.switched on & off/ checked network settings etc have now given up trying & waiting on Humax sorting it!

Spot on Sarah, your in exactly the same boat as me.
If our smart tv through the internet works iPlayer but not the humax, then it's a humax problem, nothing else.
If its worked for ages, then one day it doesn't,and you haven't done anything to upset the humax??
    But what can we do......

I have had the same problem with iPayer. It is now fixed.

I found a post which recommended changing the from BT DNS servers to Googles servers.
    It worked!
iPlayer on my Humax HDR-1100S, which stopped working yesterday, is now working properly.

Googles DNS servers are 8.8.8.8 and 8.8.4.4.

I had to change them at my router (and Netgear) ORBI. I use BT internet but not their router.

Same! Mine is also working again. Let's hope it stays that way. For some reason, I had to reconnect the box to the internet though.

Since yesterday BBC iplayer has not been working on my box, others like itv hub Netflix etc ok. Prior to yesterday everything was good. I have reset my router and powered down the box but still doesn’t work. Also same issue with BBC Sounds. I notice the latest software on the Humax support site is April 2019 but as you can see below mine is more recent. Anyone know when this version was sent out for update?

    Model Name FVP-4000T
    Software Version UKTFAE 1.03.52
    Loader Version UKTFAE 1.05
    System ID 9010.7D31
Software Build Date 12 June 2020

    Thanks
