    Welcome to our Forum

Just trying 2 different programmes on a HDR 1000S and HB 1000S and they are streaming OK as I type this.

Does it hang straight away or after a period of time?

THe App on the my HDR 1100s will hang every 10 mins or so, it did not do this at first, started to watch film last night and it hung twice before the film got going properly... gave up and watched film via Sony App on blue ray player and it played all way through with no issues.... the servers Humax app use must be the slowest as iplayer works fine on everything else I own, see my first post....

The remote control is also poor and wont turn back from TV so gave up and use tv remote. also difficult to know when the box is on or is its booting, with those hard to see lights underneath the box... looks good but to many niggles....

How is your unit connected to your network?

As per my previous 2 units streaming at same time had no issues, indeed I left one of them continually streaming different episodes of a series for over 90 minutes both my units connected to network via powerline.

I'll try the HDR 1100S as well this morning.

Have you considered they might be just too close. Try seperating them. If the router is so close I have to ask why you don't connect to the router network switch with a cat5 cable ?

Graham has just asked the same question I was going to

HDR 1100S connected to iplayer and streaming, so far 10 mins without problem, will leave it streaming episodes as I did on another unit last night.

Location makes no difference router was in another room up to a couple of weeks ago and I had the same problem of hanging on iplayer.... For the first few months of ownership I did not have this issue and occasionally it works.... Like I have said all other streaming devises on my network have no issues with iplayer... They are also only used one at a time as I live alone.

I moved the router closer in hope it would help and intend to put it back in other room...

Should have mentioned HDR 1100S is connected via wifi and as far away from router as possible in my property.

    Still streaming OK.
