ITV scrambled or not available

    why is ITV3 saying it is scrambled or not available on my FVP 4000T

    Probably because ITV3 is scrambled or not available.

    Retune.

    Will AutoRetune Default wipe out recorded programmes.

    Retuning should not wipe recorded programmes, but it will wipe your schedule of future recordings, so take photos of your schedule pages before you start.

    Also, if you have a signal problem (aerial failure for example) rather than a problem with the box, you will probably lose the placeholders for all channels on the affected Mux(s) and will have to retune again once the problem has been sorted.

    I often get these messages but there is nothing wrong with them also get the message "fail to record" and up pops the recording
    I ignore them one day I suppose they may be true

    ITV3 moved frequency in March. If you haven't since retuned then that is another possible reason.
