I posted on another thread how to connect my portable televisions to my PVR and thank for your help and I’m pleased to say it’s all working well on the whole.
So the current set up is:
I have purchased a Manhattan T3-R PVR. This goes into standby mode after a couple of hours or so and when this happens I need to switch it back on to ensure it sends a signal via my video sender to my portable televisions.
Is there a way of overriding the standby mode if I wanted to do this? However, I do appreciate it’s better for the environment to simply let it go on to standby.
This is the PVR that I purchased:

My second query is a little strange.
As mentioned above my PVR goes into standby mode every night and when I switch the PVR on I get the picture on my portable televisions but no sound. To get the sound to work I need to pull out the HDMI cable (not the scart and not the power lead that go into this adaptor):

I tried both and neither solved the sound issue which means it must be the HDMI cable which goes into my HDMI to scart adaptor or something from the PVR to the HDMI splitter.
When I pull out the HDMI cable and put it back in again into the HDMI to scart adaptor I continue to get sound on my portable televisions all day despite my PVR going into standby mode. What I’m trying to say is that despite the PVR going into standby mode during the day despite having to turn the PVR back on to get a picture on my portable televisions I don’t need to pull out the HDMI cable I only appear to need to do this once every morning.
Doing the above each morning is not a huge ask however I did wonder if there was something I was overlooking and did wonder if the PVR stayed permanently on would this mean I wouldn’t have the sound issue?
Thank you in advance for any help and guidance.
