You might find this a handy source of information:
    https://www.freeview.co.uk/help/coverage-checker/detailed-view/anglia

I would suggest the link I posted earlier in this thread https://www.freeview.co.uk/corporate/platform-management is better as it gives a recommendation for each specific property (although I wouldn't always accept its recommendation).

You then select Sandy and get it to the top of the list, or select an alternative region altogether.

    Many thanks - most useful.

Yes, that is good for specific location information, but for channel number information about transmitters in a general area, the other page is quite handy, particularly when someone asks about the channels in use for a transmitter at the other end of the country.

Could the duplicate channel numbers be because you did not delete the existing channels?

If, say, programme 20 was not deleted, and what was on programme 20 got moved to 21, and a new programme was put on 20, then you end up with two programmes on Channel 20: the original one and the new one.

I have never worked it out but there seems to be some sort of overlap for a short period (a week?) where both old and new are present giving people time to do the retune.

I always delete all programmes and then do a manual tune of just those multiplexes I need (I get signals from three transmitters).

As I know the multiplex numbers I need I don't worry about the HD/SD DVB-T. If it's an m'plex I want and I don't see a signal strength on it, I just flip the DVB-T to the other one.
