I had a strange issue a couple of days ago. I decided to do a 'Smart' retune in order to get 'GB News' (for some inexplicable reason) and all seemed to go through fine. Then, some hours later I tried watching something on ITV 3 and the picture kept breaking up and or freezing. On investigation this was happening on all the PSB2 channels. A signal test showed very poor signal strength and I found that the channel number had reverted to CH44. It should be CH46 so I did a full retune and this restored the channels to CH46 as they should be. Has anyone else noticed this issue. Sutton Coldfield transmitter. I had, by the way, been watching programs using PSB2 for many months prior to having this problem.

Somewhere in your previous LCN listing you must have had at least one channel from mux44 (perhaps something you have never viewed) and the smart tune (which isn't so smart) got confused. I am on SCT and receive absolutely no signal on mux44.

A number of the SC relays use 44 for PSB2.

    I think they are these:

    Cheadle
    Harborne
    Hartington
    Ipstones Edge
    Kenilworth
    Leamington Spa
    Repton
    Rugeley
    Tenbury Wells
    Winshill

I don't believe I'm getting any channels from a relay.

If you had channels from mux44 obviously you were (or from another main transmitter).

I think it was a legacy thing as it only switched to 44 when I did a 'Smart retune' I'm guessing that it reinstated the channels from a previous time as all was working well until that retune, and cleared up when I did a full retune. Everything is working fine now, I just wanted to let others know what to do if they encountered this problem.

Like I said, you must have had at least one LCN from mux44 in your previous list otherwise "smart tune" wouldn't have scanned that frequency.
