When I set up shows to tape they won’t tape and I can’t use the tape button either to instantly tape. I was getting messages about incorrect formatting but have re formatted at least 4 times now and it still won’t tape. Can anyone offer any advice?

Hi Rochie, are you using VHS or Betamax tapes? They won't work in the Humax (only joking! It's nearly Christmas - you mention taping).

Seriously, be interested to know which model of Humax. Is it one of the older models: 9200 / 9300? John L

That’s an Australian model, it’s unlikely to work in the UK.

That would explain why. You need to use a UK PVR. Many good models available. John L

Has it occurred to you that Rochie might actually live in Australia?

Then the tapes would have to be upside down?
