Hi Martin Liddle, I note you suggest a Seagate Skyhawk as a replacement for the now defunct Seagate Pipeline range. Although Seagate have advised me that their Skyhawk ST1000VX005 is the replacement for my Pipeline ST1000VM002, today neither they nor Humax would confirm whether the Skyhawk will be a direct, plug-and-play replacement for the Pipeline in my DTR-T1000. Do you (or does anybody) have any experience of replacing a Pipeline with a Skyhawk in their PVR, please?

Several people have reported fitting Skyhawks to various Humax PVRs without any issues.

Many thanks for this, I've now found some of the posts from people who have successfully installed a Skyhawk, so I'll bite the bullet and go for one.
