Since updating, I've belatedly noticed that the pass through aerial signal seems to die briefly when the box is coming out of standby causing the TV to show a lost signal message. Is this a feature of the new software version or did it already exist and I had not noticed ? I've never noticed my PVR9300 do this but I tend to leave it on all the time.

    Thanks Barry

Still happening this evening. Assume it is related to the update as otherwise it is a pretty big coincidence.

I've installed the latest successfully but still not got on-demand despite several reboots. Any thoughts?

The next time I turned on the FVP-4000T I had the problem again. Network status shows as both Okay but On-Demand tells me to connect to the internet.

I then noticed that if you leave it for several minutes the On-Demand starts working.

I also noticed that in the first few minutes after the box is on (from low power standby) it's a little sluggish.

Is it possible that the box is doing something and isn't actually working fully for a few minutes after switch on?

Well I appear to have received the update alutomaticly just after my 4th box arrived, from what I can see it has fixed all my issues external Hdd works fine, deleting files with external Hdd attached works fine.
I have not experienced any issues.
I for one am very pleased with my humax box now.

A shame they did not produce this update quicker.

Well it is going from bad to worse here. The box is now repeatedly freezing in the middle of a programme and then rebooting. Every 5-10 minutes or so. Nothing is recording beyond a reboot, so that's an additional annoyance. Is this likely to have been caused by the latest update, or is it simply a massive coincidence?

    Why all the replacement boxes?

It's a new feature I had the same issue with our 2000T - using a passive splitter (couple of pounds from Maplin) solves the issue permanently.

I'm sure that with the two previous firmware versions when you brought the Humax out of proper sleep (not recording sleep) the menu choice selected was always the choice which had last been selected before the machine was slept.

I now find that the default menu choice whenever the machine wakes up is "On Demand" which is a bit of a pain as 99% of the time all we want is "Recordings".
