First try doing a soft reset, Please power button for 8 seconds, if this doesn't work try unplugging box for few minutes & then replug box & see if it lights now come on.
If still no success, you need to use the maintenance mode to access the boot up menu (rather like a pc bios). Select option 2 and MAKE SURE before doing this that box is connected to internet or box will jam!

Youview don't support the DTR2100 anymore, but instructions are similar. Yes you are correct, you can't transfer recordings, but option 2 will KEEP your recordings. Just follow the instructions very carefully. More help can be found on BT/EE forums, but it keeps being changed. Hope this helps/please let forum know how you get on. John L
