    Television.

We assumed that much; I think the intent of the question was to enquire about the make and model of TV you are using.

The amp it's usually plugged into is a Yamaha RX-V667 and my TV is an LG 37SL8000

Some Youview users had problems with that amp as well.

Check firmware version and if necessary contact Yamaha UK for update believe version 2.12 is the latest

Thanks. That's an interesting upgrade procedure to play a wav file! It's upgrading at the moment and I'll report back in a day or so once I've seen if it fixes the issue.

    Cheers!

I managed to upgrade my amp last night. I wasn't sure it had worked but it says it's running the new firmware.

This morning, when I'm not recording, TV comes on as normal, no issues.

Tonight, I turn the TV on mid recording and still no picture, however this time, changing the input on my amp and then changing it back again does fix the issue.

So not perfect, but at least I can get it to show the picture again now. Thanks for your help!

I think I spoke too soon, apart from the first day, it hasn't worked since. No amount of changing inputs, audio inputs or anything will get the picture to show.
