bam trying to connect my recorder to TV.I have connected electricity to recorder, plugged in aerial and connected HMDI cord to HMDI1 on TV and corder
I put my source as HMDI1
When I try to access recorder I get:
    Humax page
a page that has 4 items on it starting with "Automatic selectio" but the page is there for about 1 second them my screen goes to a blank green page and I can then do nothing further
All I can do is turn the recorder off

    Any suggestions?

Turn off the power for 15 mins. If it's still the same take it back as faulty.

While it is connected to the other TV, go into video settings and change hdmi resolution to 720p,then connect to the new TV and see what happens.

There have been a small number of reports that using a different version of the loader software MIGHT help for this problem. What loader version is the Humax using (It is shown at the bottom left of the screen as the Humax starts up)?

If you want to send me a Private Message with your email address I can send you a different loader to try (there are four possibles (including the one the box is already running)). They are applied by copying to a USB stick and rebooting the Humax. What make and model is the problematic TV?

    Many thanks

    Toshiba 32RL958

Incidentally I cannot find any way of changing resolution, not in any manuals or settings lists

    Look foward to your email
