    For resolution, press the v-format button on the remote.

    Incidentally I cannot find any way of changing resolution, not in any manuals or settings lists

    Use the V-FORMAT button on the remote.
    To use the V-FORMAT button you press it once to see the current setting, and then you press it a second time to move it onto the next "format".

    The manuals explains: "Some TVs/Displays may not support all Video Resolutions, to change this in the future please use the V-FORMAT button on your remote control".
