Playing files from the hard drive Question

    Hi Guys,

I've copied files to my Humax Hard Drive for viewing on the big screen (not really big but bigger than my Tablet).

Unfortunately it doesn't quite seem to work properly.

When I get towards the end of a programme the Humax cuts off the last 20/30 seconds and starts playing the next file in the list.

So it's doing two annoying things, missing the end and playing something I don't want to watch.

I've looked in the settings but can't see an obvious fix, can anyone help with this?

    Regards,

    Paul

If you stream them from the usb drive connected to a PC or copied to a shared folder on the PC does it work properly ?

    Hi Graham,
I've not tried that, I'll give it a go, see how I get on.

    Hi Graham,

I just tried using DLNA (or DNLA whichever it is) and it plays the whole file BUT it still goes on to the next file in the directory.

I've spotted a small "List" icon appears when you Stream or Play a file and if I click the list button on the remote it lists he files in the directory that it is going to play.

So it's creating a playlist (which I don't want) and including all the files in the particular directory I'm playing from.

I can't see any playlist options in the menus.

    Regards,

    Paul

It's Digital Living Networks Alliance (DLNA). Either pressing the square stop button or exit should stop the next file playing.
