What software version does your H3 have uploaded.
Just tried playing both SD and HD from FVP 4000T and skipping forward and back using the dedicated buttons or highlighting same symbols in timebar works without issue.I've not bought one yet, I love the idea of the H3. Theres not much info or reviews about it on the internet so would like to be sure things like this are working a-ok before I ditch the rip off sky!
Personally I would stay well clear of the h3. You could try a Firestick loaded with Kodi and DLNA onto the 4000t..... and only record sd programs so you can access them. H3 may be some good if you just want live TV in another room without an aerial.... I need to view recordings from the 4000t. If you buy a firestick from currys you can always take it back as unsuitable within 30 days for a full refund.....so you have nothing to loose by trying. Hope this helps a little... steve.
