Rebooting yet again.

    Hi, after about a year since the last shut down and reboot my Aura has just done it while watching the Chase . I think I will try another power cycle and see what happens, really annoying when this happens, anyone else have this expirence?

    Yes it's become a common problem and hummax don't seem to give a flying **** , never buying from them again.

    Yes several times but only while watching youtube.
    Annoying if recording TV as means break in recording!

    Yeh mine does it even when watching normal TV, hadn't done it for about ten months but it has started again.I emailed Humax last week but have not had a reply yet

    One thing I have done recently is a rescan of all channels as Freeview have been making some changes.

    No idea if this is related or not, but we're currently not experiencing any reboots at the moment.

    Will possibly try that Matt nothing to lose, other than the rebooting I'm happy with it.

    In my experience every model of Humax PVR suffers from an occasional reboot; one in ten months is pretty good going. As far as I know the reboots are due to the Humax software crashing, probably an unhandled exception.
