When watching a recording of an older programme, 'Pie In The Sky' for instance, the picture on screen is always elongated - I know Richard Griffiths is a big man but he shouldn't look that wide.
What is the best way to get the picture looking 'normal'. Can it be done from the Humax menu or do I need to change the TV display?

Ypu haven't told us about your setup so we are guessing. I would start on the Humax by looking at Menu>Preferences>A/V Control>Display Format.

My setup is a PVR-9300T with a model TX-L22X20B Panasonic television.
I have tried changing the Humax display format without much success. I was hoping there would be some setting which would automatically take care of the display. Perhaps the simplest solution is to alter the TV aspect ratio while waching the affected programmes?
