Remap Aura Controller Buttons

The controller supplied with the Aura has many buttons, many of which I don't need such as the Kids and Text buttons.

Is it possible to remap these so that they open specific apps for example?

Not as far as I know but if you find a way then please tell us how.

I think that someone on this forum has remapped buttons on the aura remote control using an android remapping app.

My forum search found one member mention that he has done it. I have messaged him, fingers crossed he replies.
