As I was having problems with my remote - difficult to find correct place to point at when fast forwarding, playing etc. I inserted new batteries.
As that didn't help, I found humax forum that said they were advised by humax to:
1.With batteries out Press & Hold the Power Button on top left corner for 2 minute. This completes a static discharge.
2.Batteries back in Press & Hold the OK & 0 buttons for 10 seconds.
You will see a message on screen. Immediately press number 2.
This put remote into Mode 2.
If you don't see a message on screen repeat until you do.
I did the above and now I can't get the pvr to work at all - it keeps taking me to page saying no HDMI - go to source. When I do that on my TV remote it goes back to same page. I have tried unplugging, removing wires etc. I can turn on the box at the box, but remote won't change channels ' it will only turn tv off or on!
