Signal Test Channel Number Shows Minus (-)

On our 5000T the Signal Test screen shows two channels (37 and 44) as a minus (-) and as far as I am aware the Oxford transmitter no longer has any +/- offsets since the last retune.

Just wondering what might cause this or is it just a bug in the software?

It looks like a bug to me.

I read the "-" as a dash, indicating something like "channel unspecified", which could indicate an offset either way. The frequency shown suggests a positive offset (I believe 167kHz is the usual offset value) but, as you say, Oxford is not supposed to have them now.

    634MHz is Ch41 PSB 1 at Oxford.

Maybe the box calculates the channel number from the frequency and when its a +/- offset channel it just substitutes a - for unknown. When a smart retune is done the offset channels only show the frequency and bit rate.

For the record there appears to be currently 3 offset channels on the Oxford Transmitter:

    37 601.833MHz (- offset) ARQA/COM5
    41 634.167MHz (+ offset) BBCA/PSB1
    44 657.833MHz (- offset) D3+4/PSB2

The digital UK WEB site shows no offsets but I have found a spreadsheet on the Ofcom WEB site that could be interpreted as these channels having temporary offsets which will be removed in the future.
