    If Freesat own the software, write or email them. It would seem somewhere there is not enough thought and testing done looking at other software update issue on this forum

    ...and you think many users (myself included) have not done that? In addition Freesat did for a short time run an online user forum in which they received a barrage of criticism. They closed it down. Humax had a similar Facebook page, last time I looked they had removed the ability to comment.
