A little update... my schedule disappeared again and I can confirm that if I delete any channel, the schedule immediately repopulates!
Given that automatic tuning, even although it asks me to select a region, is dragging in MUXs from another transmitter, I have now manually returned to see what happens. I wish the 4000 had an easy method of showing which MUXs were in use across all the channels.
    Fingers crossed....

The same MUX is used for the same channels across the UK. Suspect you mean what UHF frequency/UHF channel number a specific MUX on your box is using. There is normally a way to show this info on a Humax box for any channel you are tuned to. Not having your box I can't give detailed instructions.

Home, Settings, Channel settings, Signal Test will display the info.

Manual tuning doesn't seem to fix the issue..

I have just recently had the problem of the recording list partially/completely disappearing.
Last night I only had a partial loss of the sc.hedule today it was the complete list that missing.
In both cases it was cleared by a reboot
I had a problem with this after I had carried out a factory reset about 2 weeks ago. Set up the schedule in the morning after the reset but I noticed that in the evening the schedule was missing, the guide showed the programmes as marked to be recorded but when looking at the program details the dates for the recordings were shown but not marked as to be recorded.
This is so with the recent occurrences, I didn't leave to chance and did the reboot to clear it but on the earlier occurrence I did a re-schedule of the programmes but missed one which did not record.

I mentioned the issue to Humax almost a month ago - it's been stated on here many times that reboots, manual tuning, factory resets do not fix the problem of the blank schedule page - sometimes it works for a period then the issue returns. Having said that I've had the schedule page populated most of the time the last couple of weeks, then it will go blank now and again and return the next day or so. No idea why, I haven't changed anything recently. It will be interesting to see if deleting a channel does always bring back the schedule as reported as a workaround - I could happily delete 80% of the freeview channels. I normally do delete a bunch of channels after retuning but haven't this time just in case it screws something up on the box.

You are correct - I meant to say which MUXs had been picked up and on what UHF channel. The signal test menu item will show you what UHF channel the currently selected channel is on but it's not possible to change channels whilst in this menu, you have to exit the menu system entirely to change channel and then drill back down to Signal Test again. It would have been nice in the Edit Channel menu to have the UHF channels listed beside them.

Well Done for finding this, if it's reliable it'll be the easiest work around so far, especially as another poster mentioned there's so many rubbish channels to choose from, at least a couple of months worth as and when the problem happens.

The instructions #72 will give the same rudimentary information as per standard on Humax boxes, strength, quality, UHF channel number for the tuned channel in use only. No mention of Mux or whether DVB/T2 or which transmitter. Really useful basic and easy to provide information to help diagnose has always been missing from stanadard Humax products. I expect it's the same across the board.

It'll be really interesting to see how this pans out and a great find if reliable until a proper software fix is found.

It's very easy to identify a single channel from each MUX for your transmitter. You only need to check one from each, that's 6 or 8 plus a possible local LB mux

Google Freeview on xxxxx (xxxxx your transmitter)

    Eg

    https://ukfree.tv/transmitters/tv/Sutton_Coldfield/PGSTART2480/

Only channels on PSB3 (and if you have them COM7 and COM8) are DVB-T2
