Hi, I have tried to de a free sat tune and it won't work. I have tried the previous options above and they haven't worked was wondering if these had changed? The software is .17 and it won't update.

    Welcome to our forum.

Did you check the freesat home transponder mentioned in posts 2 and 3. If so what signal strength and quality do you have ?

If not in the UK where are you located ?

The freesat home transponder is now on a different satellite and is now on a UK spot beam whereas it used to be on a pan European beam.

Latest software is 1.00.21, you will have to update using a usb memory stick.

Is that on 11427 H ? You would normally need a zone 2 (60cm) dish or larger that far North.

I would download and install the latest software as a first step.

Hi, how do you get the device to see the update on the usb?

Instructions are contained in the zip archive as a text file. Basically you copy the xxxx.hdf file to the root folder of a usb memory stick and rename it as FOXSAT-HDR_upgrade.hdf. With the foxsat in full sby and the TV tuned to the right input. Put the stick in the front usb slot. Press and hold the power on button on the unit till you see the updating screen.
