Unique Pin Number Issue

    Barry has cleverly suggested that applying a default update file which resets the box to as delivered might fix the problem. I may have a copy on some back up usb drives but as going away shortly and not back till Sunday I can't have a look till Sunday.

    Hi guys

    Amazingly, I have the same problem with a HDR-1000s! How did you fix it? I get the same error up, current pin does not match and can't reset it. It had an older level of firmware on which I've just updated to the current level (07 Feb 18), but I still can't reset it.

    HI,

    I have this same problem. I have tried everything from internet. We have forgotten the Parental Control Pin, so cannot access Netflix. How do I reset it?
    Under hidden settings and clicking on reset code, it says "current pin does not match".

    Can someone help me? Thank you,

    Can yuo help me with the humax problem, same issue you had, i cannot reset the pin or go to factory default & we have forgotten the original pin. thank you, Mary
