Good morning. I wonder if anyone can help. Last night a number of the channels on HDR 1100s were lost to "the receiver is not receiving a signal or the signal is too weak". It's happened to Channel 4, 5 and most of the ITV +1 channels and probably others too. I've checked signal strength, it's good and I've tried to retune, I think, through the freesat channels box in Your Settings. All this to no avail. Nothing has changed to the set up of TV etc and the weather is good and dish is still attached to the house. Any suggestions welcome. Thank you.

What signal quality is shown when tuned to these channels?
Please post details of channels including the region you receive.| Thu 13 Jul 2017 6:47:18 #2 | -
Hello, it shows No Signal. (I didn't realise I had to tune to the channel then check signal strength, doh). The channels I can't get are BBC2 (SD), BBC4, Channel4, 5, ITV HD, ITV +1, ITV2+1, ITV3+1, ITV Be, etc. The region we pick up is BBC SW, we're in North Cornwall.

Howdy, the guide just shows BBC One, it doesn't show the region names, but 962 did play alright. The dish is on the side of a single storey part, so not difficult to reach. Lnbs don't seem to be expensive, so we'll give that a go. The dish has been up for quite some time. They can't be tricky to replace, can they? I'll let you know how I get on.

eg
Check your coax cables for any sign of water ingress. If wet replace with WF100/PF100 sat grade coax and use silicone grease on the connections.

A busy day here or I would have been back earlier.
Can I add one point, remember to note the shew (twist) on the LNB before you dismount it. Set the new one to the same skew.

Yes, those channels, 950-973, are there. I'll give things the once over while I'm up the ladder and I'll remember to check the shew. I just have to wait for the lnb to be delivered. It's quite exciting really, isn't it. Thanks everyone. I'll report back.

I meant skew.

Well, I tried to replace the lnb but things turned ugly pretty quickly. To cut a long story short we now have a brand new dish and all's well again. Hooray. Thanks for all your help.TTFN
