Remote control slow to respond or unresponsive for PVR 9300T (assume issue is with remote). Thought about using an app on android phone instead. Tried a few but none seem to access EPG. Has any-one found an app that does this?

There is not an app that can be used with the PVR-9300T. Neither is it possible for someone to create one as the PVR-9300T does not have LAN connectivity.

Have you looked how old the 9XXXT pvrs are ? You probably had a PC with Windows 98 at the time of launch. and had dial up internet services.

Sorry I don't have enough spare money to afford more modern technology.

Then you can't expect the sort of technology that more modern kit has.

Not sure why you think it's that expensive. You do however normally need a TV with HDMI inputs.

Plenty of cheap Android devices with all the apps you can shake a stick at.

    Random Example

You clearly have a PC of some sort.

    Check out a Google Chromecast

Why ? - the whole point of a forum is to share our knowledge (or lack of it) with others. Everyone has to start somewhere. I happen to be ancient (72) and had a 9200T heaven knows how old you were when you bought a 9300T. this is a friendly place

If you need more help please explain your post. It could help others with similar issues.

Luke answered by question and it was a definitive "not possible". To this end I found the forum very useful and will save me a lot of time trying out more apps as I now know they won't work. What I personally found less useful was someone making what I feel are derigatory comments about the age of the technology I can afford. We are clearly just in very different financial situations. Maybe you mean to be jovial but it's not how I took it. I don't mean to comment on this stuff but you asked the question. Please, there is no need to reply as I have the answer to my query - there is nothing more any-one can learn from this thread.
