Youtube Playback Error

    I'm experiencing a playback error on YouTube. Any video's sent to the telly via the Youtube app on my phone or played via the Humax interface is experiencing the following error "Playback Error, This video is currently unavailable". On the app itself the message is "This video is not available on your TV".

    I've signed out of my Youtube on the phone and the Humax box and back in on both and I've re-booted the box, also I've un-paired and re-paired. Still no joy.

    Video's that worked previously now do not. The error on my laptop is "This video is not available for remote playback" when accessed via the Youtube browser.

    Effectively the Youtube on the Humax has ceased operation.

    Any ideas?

    Hmm, might be that changes to the Youtube site has broken the app.

    Strangely, some of my videos will play but most won't. I tried pairing the Humax with an Android device but while the video would play okay on the latter, when I switched the view to the TV it said the Humax couldn't play it. Let's hope they fix this soon.

    On the up side if it's broken for everyone then a fast fix is doubtless in the pipeline.

    Same here. About two weeks ago I noticed some vids would not play. This morning, none at all play - "Playback error" each time.

    mines packed up working also
    no youtubes selected play at all

    not very impressed with my HRD 1000s additional functions

    Broke for me too. After putting up with the LOADING message appearing on screen for ages, now it looks like we will have to put up with no YouTube at all. Their new playback and website changes are crap too, looks like they have resorted back to older tech.

    Maybe if enough people complain about it then someone at Humax will update the 1000s firmware. Or downgrade it by the looks of the new YouTube !

    9 out of 10 of everything I select on You tube through my Humax 1000s will not play, (Play back Error) Return to Guide!
    I will get the odd 1 but it takes most of your time up trying to find one that will play...

    yes for me this error started a week ago with some u-tube movies not playing, now none of them will work
    This is really annoying
