Yep its broken for me as well, I'm using a HDR-1100s.
Youtube seemed to work fine for a few days when it first came back.
Then something changed, I'm sure the UI looked a bit different.
That's when all the weird navigation stuff started to happen.
Its pretty much useless compared to how it was but been battling on with it....
Yesterday around 10pm it seems all streaming services stopped for me.
I had been streaming a youtube vid which had stopped while i was out the room.
Then i couldn't access it at all. Checking other apps the same problem.
I've reset my unit and even reloaded firmware trying to get it happening but nothing.

Come up with a link unavailable error (or the like..) then directs you to setup your internet connection which is fine.
Then it informs you that's it connected OK then your back in the loop.
    Its all very rubbish.
Back to using the laptop for youtube then....

What really hacks me off is the lack of response from either Humax or YouTube. Emails ignored, no updates. Pathetic and annoying.

Maybe someone else who, like me, ISN'T experiencing any problems with YouTube search could post? It might help to track down this problem which must be really frustrating for those affected. Personally I haven't done a reset of any sort since YouTube came back on line recently and of course the last upgrade was way back in June. My 5000T is connected via ethernet whilst my 4000T is wireless although I realise that shouldn't make any difference...

Gonzini, Did your Youtube icon ever vanish of your box, and if so, how did you restore it?
I've tried myHumax account on PC with a registered box, and can't restore the app from there either?

I am having the same issues on my HDR 1010S. Can no longer control YouTube videos regarding back buttons or stop buttons. If I pause the Youtube video, it just stays paused and the only way out of it is to exit Youtube completely. I have linked my iPhone to my TV and can now use my iPhone as a 'remote' for the time being. As others have mentioned, I am also having problems with the YouTube search function. I try to search and the search keypad disappears! Incredibly frustrating!

I'm beginning to feel a little guilty that mine still works! I would invite you all round for a YouTube Party but sadly the pandemic precludes that....

I've got nothing now. No streaming services at all.
It just says on demand is loading which it never does.
I wonder if its regional? I'm down south.

All the icons disappeared in the end and now i cant access the sub menu at all.
Apparently a fix was to reset your apps but i can't see a way to do that, unless it has to be working to get at a menu option. It was said it was in the settings menu but i can't find anything related to apps.
I just factory reset mine and out of desperation reloaded the firmware in hope it would clear everything out.
Just doesn't work at all now, don't know if its my unit or not.
I was definitely having the same issues as mentioned in this thread with Youtube.
Came here to see if anyone else was experiencing the same problems which they are. Not sure about none of the streaming services not working?

Please can somebody please post what they are searching for.

How can anyone check if it works for them.

Prime rules for anyone to try and replicate.

    Box used.

type of connection to the internet.

    Network connections data from settings,

    Search text used.

None of us have a Crystal Ball. Well I did but it it fell off my desk and now it is shattered.

    Just joking

Please post enough info for others to try and replicate your issue,

Without this info, no way to tell if it's a local issue or one that is local to you.

And you are likely to get a response that is a lot more relevant to your issue,
