Have iplayer fault also, and unable to get youtube for 2 Days now.
Began to throw up the message intermittently and could occasionally reach youtube but zero success now.
Phoned many times but customer service never answer.
Humax seem to have a very flippant attitude to failures with their service, certainly no sense of urgency in sorting out these annoying failings.
Please post any updates as soon as known, thanks.

Hello, thank you for adding me to the forum.
I recently started having problems accessing YouTube on my Humax HDR1100S. When YouTube is selected from the On Demand menu the message " you are being directed to YouTube.com" followed by a screen full of grey rectangles, any ideas?

I have the same problem, no utube. Get it ok on my firestick so seems it's a Humax problem, they have probably stopped paying utube for the service. Not good enough Humax.

I rather doubt that Humax pay YouTube anything. In several cases I suspect service providers have paid Humax to implement their service on a specific box.

My comment about not paying was tongue in cheek. Not too long ago we had a similar experience with My5 that took a lifetime to resolve, I can see this going the same way.

YouTube doesn't work on my HDR-1100S box either. I emailed Humax 10th Oct at 08:25 hours but don't expect a reply. I never got a reply when I complained about iPlayer.

Although people comment in this forum has anyone else complained to Humax directly? Just thinking they may not be aware of the issue if no one tells them. Their email is uksupport@humax-digital.co.uk .
