I'm sure most owners of Freetime HDR boxes are aware, of when they play back their recordings, they scroll from right to left. I have recorded two programmes in the last 72 hours, 'The Eagle' & 'Fake Britain', and when I watch them both tonight, neither of the recorded titles scrolled, they were both stationary! My other recordings still scroll. Does anyone know why? I thought for a minute, that there had been a software update, to correct the scrolling, but don't think this is the case.

Update: I have just this minute recorded 5 minutes of Sky News, this time the scrolling is back!! How weird!

Does it depend on the programme name length?

If it will fit the display - no scrolling, if it won't - scrolling.

Ah, now I understand. Thank you Barry. Having said that, 'Sky News' fits in, but that scrolls as well.

Perhaps a case of trailing spaces in the name?

If the programme is just called Sky News it does not scroll on mine however if it is Sky News with...., then it will probably scroll (have not tested that one)
