    Difference is on the same channel I.e BBC on T V is much louder than on the Humax box

    Not what I asked, is the channel BBC 1 SD and BBC 1 SD or BBC 1 HD and BBC 1 HD ? If you compare BBC 1 HD on the Humax and BBC 1 SD on the TV and vice versa what happens.
