    Are zinc chloride, alkaline or lithium the best to go for in remote controls?

    Lithium are the best choice for kit that takes a lot of current like motorised toys. Remote controls are low current drain so Alkaline is the best bet.

    Which give 74% to Aldi Active Energy AA at 1.99 for two.

    I think Graham is saying the Which (Consumer Association) testing gave the Aldi battery a test score of 74%.
