Britbox app for Google's Chromecast with Google TV device is not on UK Play Store but is available on the Play Stores in US, Canada & Australia. As I have google accounts in these countries I have installed the Britbox app from these stores on to the Aura and also Chromecast with Google TV and the app when opened it says "Britbox is not currently available in your Country". App locked to country it was downloaded from?
All I am trying to say Britbox app for Android Tv is not available on UK Play Store for Google's own device but is in other countries Play Store's.

@SSThing, as you do not have an Aura, this is another pointless discussion!

Not using VPN. I am using the Firestick Britbox app sideloaded on to the Aura and also sideloaded Chromecast with Google TV

    What exactly is your problem?

The question was asked, it's been answered in the forum before and 37416 himself has said that he has sideloaded a none UK apk but it doesn't work.
Mars, if you want to be helpful, post a solution instead of just snidey comments. Otherwise, as I pointed out previously, the only person being unhelpful is the person who offers no help at all.
    Grow up!

    Copied from Britbox US website
    Streaming Devices
    AndroidTV
We support AndroidTV or GoogleTV streaming devices that run Android OS 5.0 and above, including Google Chromecast TV and set-top boxes such as NVIDIA Shield
Available in the Australia, Canada, South Africa and the US

UK does not currently support Android Tv/Google Tv streaming devices. Looks like at moment on the Aura is to cast from Britbox app on phone/tablet (not tried) or sideload Firestick app
