Only Kodi problem I have is the screen is a bit over sized.
Can you not calibrate the screen/display area from the Kodi settings (as per other devices)?
You may need to activate the Advanced options.
In case this helps anyone else. I was losing audio when playing 5.1 content after a few minutes. I had my kodi audio setting set to 2.1 - because this is what my TV has.
I changed the Kodi audio to 5.1 and this fixed my problem.
So I guess its down to the TV now to downmix instead of Kodi. But it now works fine.
Recently bought a used Aura at £120 to experiment with I saw this thread and it confirmed I could put Kodi on it. Unlike my Amazon Firecube the Kodi stuttered and paused when playing files from my Blu-Ray Rips stored on a network drive.
Found out that smaller files around 1GB played ok but larger ones struggled I couldn’t seem to see why this was happening and tried various things but to no avail.
I resigned my self to selling the Aura on and to continue to use the Firecube.
but on a whim I popped in an ethernet cable and disconnected the wifi
It works perfectly now. So I can only assume the wi-fi is the issue. It could simply be my box has the issue but its fine on wifi for the catch up stuff.
