    Thanks for the reply.
Can you let me know how to reflash the standard latest firmware for foxsat?
I bought the Humax second hand so don't know if it was tested with Beta s/w.

Post the system-ID from the diagnostics menu. Suspect it's the wrong value. If so you will need to change it with a small update file before you can flash any standard firmware (including the Custom firmware which updates to latest Humax software at the same time).

That's correct - suspect you have downloaded the wrong file.

Barry has a copy, hopefully he will respond though I doubt it will help. A tad baffling your error is generated by attempting to flash the wrong software (eg Trying to flash HDR FOX T2 update on a Foxsat HDR).

I don't think it will help either as the sys id is correct, I've uploaded (already renamed for use)

Edit: file now removed as member has tried it.

Hi Barry tried that and get the same error.
I did upgrade to a larger hard disc drive earlier this year.
Would that be causing the problem?

    1. Double check your pendrive, ensure no other files are in root.

    2. Double check the file name - no extra file extn's added by operating system on your computer.

    Is all I can suggest.
