I don't mind which transmitter I get the signal from.

    But your box does.

Where's the "roll on the floor laughing" smiley when you need it?

But does it matter in the specific case of channels broadcast on the COM7 mux?

Go into "channel settings" and delete channels 0009,106 and 838.

    Then save when prompted.
    Then choose "manual channel search"
Press "OK" on the channel bar and scroll down to 55.
    Press "OK"
Scroll down to "Transmission", "OK" then scroll to highlight "DVB-T2" in blue. "OK"
Scroll down to "Search" and press "OK".
Let it scan and save the results.

Hopefully this will solve the issue.

Seems a bit of a long and destructive process.

Doesn't take much longer than the automatic tune once you have done it once.

It mentions wiping out all saved channels along with the recording schedule. It would take me ages to re-input all that data. That is what I meant by destructive.

I agree that the FVP tuning algorithm isn't great. Can I just check that when you are retuning that you are not using the Smart tune option (which in my experience is anything but Smart)?

Yes I am. Same reason as above for recording schedule.

    There's your problem.
If you insist on using the "smart" option, you will get the same result.

Brilliant, this worked. But BBC4 has moved to FV channel 24, not 9, and I had to re-scan UHF channel 27 to get it back (not that that is important now that I have the HD channel in the correct place).

    Thank you so much, guys.

FV channel 24 is BBC4 in Scotland. Channel 9 is for BBC Scotland so are you getting your TV from a Scottish Tx?

Probably Craigkelly. Mentioned earlier in Post 3 (but could be Black Hill).
