I too have 1.01.06 and the wifi dongle. But wifi is greyed out. Is there any chance of a link for software upgrade.
    Thanks.

Out of interest, does the new Humax dongle support 5GHz WiFi in addition to 2.4GHz? Generally dongles using the Ralink 5572 chip set have this feature and the new Humax dongle uses this chip set.

    Hi

It looks like I'm yet another who has just bought one of these and found that it has a version of software too old to support the supplied WiFi dongle.

I have downloaded the latest version from the website (to make sure I can do it) but would appreciate a link to a version which will support the dongle.

Is it possible that some RT5572 dongles do support 5GHz and some don't? In my ignorance I just presumed that as my RT5572 does then they all do.

Thanks Barry - much appreciated. Works a treat - it is a bit frustrating how long it is taking Humax to supply a box with software that will support the wifi dongle that they put in the box!

Hi all, new to this. Have just got a 2000T and the wrong dongle in the box. After frustrating hours at home and in the shop, we finally found the right dongle to solve the greyed-out Wi-Fi setting. We now have internet access.

Now it says that it can't connect to the TV Portal. I will try an extension lead for the dongle, but this is starting to make me think we'd be better off with Panasonic.........
