What signal finder did you use? The el cheapo ones will give a reading anyway when there is no signal if the sensitivity is turned up high enough.

Try a manual tune to 11428 H 27500 2/3 which is the freesat home transponder, without this it will report no channels. Check signal quality on this frequency. (Courtesy REPASSAC HERE)

It is likely the absence of this transponder for some reason or another that is causing your problem.

It was an ‘el cheapo’,but I was able to adjust sensitivity up and down.
On manual tune there is no 11428 H 27500 2/3, however there is 11428 H 27500 A., should I use User Define to add this?

If I put the new values in, it only allows me to put in 11428!...how do I insert the rest?

    In fact when I save 11428, it shows as 11428 A 27500 A

The fact that you get no channels on a full non freesat channel would seem to indicate the lnb has failed.

    Just add any transponder say.

    Frequency 10847 Polarisation V, Modulation DVB-S2, 8PSK Symbol rate 23000, FEC 3/4.

This is a UK spot beam with a very high field strength.

How do I add the transponder detail you suggest?

I will add this to my box tommorow and detail the steps.

Aternatively do a non freesat scan with FTA selected. If it finds no channels, either your dish has moved, you have water in the coax cabling or the lnb needs replacing.

Thanks graham,...I don’t think the dish has moved, I get a good signal from a third output from dish to receiver/tv in another room....however when I connect my Foxsat hummy to this third output via the hummy LNB I get the no signal message.....suggesting to me problem is with hummy.

I doubt it. Connect the Foxsat-HDR to tuner 1 in only on the 3rd output. Can't you check this transponder using the 3rd receiver as any satellite box will do (even a Sky-box just use add channels to add the transponder details already posted). ? It could still be the cabling from the lnb.

One way to check the single 3rd feed and the Foxsat is connect a short cable to tuner 1 out to tuner 2 in. Connect the single cable to tuner 1 in. Now check the same transponder. What have you connected to the 3rd feed you think is working ?

Check the home transponder using this very old post on the feed you think is working.

Be careful there are two transponders that might say 11428. One is vertical the other horizontal.

The 3rd feed is connected to a Goldman’s SD Reciever and from the receiver scart is connected a Panasonic tv.......and the tv works ok from the dish in SD
