What channel is the power on timer set to use ?
Channel 3 UTV
I'm in Northern Ireland
Change it to BBC1 HD Ulster on 101 power on 07:00 power off at 7:15.
Change it to BBC1 HD Ulster on 101 power on 07:00 power off at 7:15.
Tried this but it hasn't made any difference still lots of entries saying "No programme information"

You aren't by any chance looking at the scheduled recordings list at entries where the series last programme has already been recorded.
Hi Graham
Apologies.
I have to admit to not taking care when choosing the channel for the power on.
I had it on BBC1 not BBC1 HD.
I've now changed this and that seems to have made a difference.
Many Thanks for all your help.

Although it seemed to make a difference initially I think I spoke too soon. There are still too many entries where there is "No programme information" available.
This is a great source of dissatisfaction to me with this box and at the moment I could not recommend this box to friends.
I think something needs to be done about it.

There was a issue with ITV-HD in England that may have also affected UTV. It affected TV's and other kit so nothing to do with Humax

Is there another link? The one you have provided is a link to this thread as far as I can see.
BTW the problem isn't just related to UTV - all channels including BBC are affected.

This issue specifically only affected ITV-HD.
There remains the isue with the EPG that's been going for about three months now. Often noticed on R3 Drama on Three. The title of the drama used to appear underneath the Drama on Three heading - now we have to guess or look up elsewhere what the title is. It's random with other programmes/channels as to whether the subtitle shows up or not. The subtitles are always available on the Freeview tablet app.
After turning my TV on before, nearly all my channels for the rest of the night also say no program information.
Do recordings still record fine if the epg doesn't show any programs?
