Having started at 9:45, I hope it should be complete by tea time this evening or not much later!

Still not populated with any of the various streamers at all at 5.30 p.m.

    That seems ridiculous!

BTW mine has the smaller disk too.

There is no change since last evening.

Internet connection shown as by Ethernet, actually HomePlugs,of which I have ensured all connectors are secure. In internet settings only IPlayer and ITVHub are shown. The correct address for the Humax is shown by BeBox, which is a mystery, as my router is a Billion 8000NL. Please comment.

I hope that info is helpful.

All normal. BeBox, I think is a abbreviation for BusyBox, which is included in the Linux implementations on Humax units under the GNU GENERAL PUBLIC LICENSE. It provides the interface for the network.

The display of the correct IP for the unit confirms connection to a LAN (if using DHCP) but not necessarily to the Internet.

Well the screen shows message, "Great You're connected", so how can I not be after all this time? I just cannot think what else to do or look.

Do you get any message when you enter on-demand AND Showcase. If not you have internet access. What exactly do you see in each and if the Icons are blank can you select them and do they work? (I would guess yes). If so, just ignore them being blank and they will populate in time.

    Three screenshots are attached.
    1. Home with On demand selected
    2. On Demand screen
    3. Showcase screen
    Do they give any clue?

It's still the same this morning; that's from Friday!! TBH I'm ****** off.

After all that time I'm wondering if further waiting can be fruitful, so whether I should try another disk format, or invoke JLP warranty.

    your suggestions,folk?
