3 files - hjm, nts, ts

I'll have to test the transfer further...when I have a mo.

My earlier post I transferred a short recording from citv and playback via vlc was possible, just tried again with a cbbc short recording and it won't play.

and now I am having difficulty getting my recordings to show via ftp at all.

    File transfer.

Unit has Samba server on board. This can be enabled/disabled/status checked from the network menu.

With Samba enabled the FVP 4000T will appear as a network device on PC:

Contents as listed below, note SD recordings appear with an mpeg icon, and radio as mp3. These can be dragged/dropped to your PC and played with usual players.

If you use ftp to transfer then all recordings remain encrypted.

What happens when you try and drag/drop HD files to your PC with Samba enabled?

They obviously copy, but are encrypted.

I've been reading the FAQ and have a question regarding Skip forward and back.
Does it only work if you bring up the time bar or can you still skip back during live by just pressing the left cursor?

You have to display the time bar. to use skip function.

You can use FF/RW without displaying it.
