There are several recorded programs, mostly on BBC, so could watch on Catch-up maybe, if I am to factory reset it.

You won't lose recordings doing a factory reset unless you specifically ask for the hard drive to be cleared.

Factory Reset will not delete your recordings, only the recording schedule of upcoming programs.

The cached epg gets dumped during overnight housekeeping. So the first manual boot of the day takes longer as the epg cache is rebuilt.

Set a daily power on timer at o8:00 BBC 1 HD Volume 10. Set a daily power off timer at 08:15. The cached epg will be rebuilt so when you next use the box the guide should appear near instantly. Scroll to a channel by tapping in the channel number.

106 will take you instantly to BBC1 - HD at the currently selected date and time.

Which region puts BBC1-HD at 101 ? 972 should work whatever your region.
