Funnily enough my Freesat box also switched itself off about 5.15 (CET) yesterday. It didn't switch itself back on but I was able to switch it on with the remote. It seemed to behave itself after that and I was mainly watching recordings and using the fast forward quite a bit. Like Mike G said "fingers crossed".
Does anyone know if Humax has actually done anything, or are these just coincidences?
Come on Humax, come clean...
Well we have had just over 1 day now without experiencing the problem which was occuring at least 3 times a day. Fingers crossed for the future then...
Anyone still experiencing the problem?
Mine is fixed now too.
Would love to know what the issue was.
Mine's fine now, too.
Can we blame the broadcasters for this one, Barry?
As the majority of those reporting on this thread had no internet connection I think it is safe to assume the cause had to be broadcast - however it was not identified so will remain a mystery.
A mystery?
Seems very odd that every one seems to have had a "re-boot" @ 16.15 / 17.15 without prompt and now every ones box is working now!
A mystery indeed.
