Have suffered like many with the recent on demand problems with 1000s and was advised to try factory reset. Unfortunately, have on restarting the unit simply freezes in the installation wizard. Other than on demand access, worked fine previously and so satellite and tv connections are all fine. Anyone able to help?

    Two suggestions:

    1. Disconnect from mains for a few minutes and then re-try.
    2. If no luck in 1. I remember seeing someone's suggestion to disconnect the LNB's and retry. Power off first before disconnecting. I am rather doubtful about this myself.

I presume you are seeing a TV picture when it freezes?

Have tried with all connections out, but to no avail. TV picture appears on initial start up, but then disappears - only action is "installation wizard" scrolling across the box.

I think that perhaps the wizard is not frozen - perhaps the TV has missed a resolution change. Do you have a SCART connector to just try setup again. I have seen other posts with this exact problem.

Connection is via SCART (no HDMI on TV). What action should I take?
