I can't understand why people are whinging about the lack of Netflix, it's not as if there is anything worth watching on it.
Why don't people watch it on the device they used before getting the aura?
On the rare occasions that I can be bothered trying to find anything worth watching on it, I can watch it on my TV, or a FireTV Stick.

Because, as has been pointed out numerous times, not everyone already has another device, not everyone has enough hdmi ports to add another device, not everyone wants another device and another remote control.
The Aura is marketed as a high-end media device (and for the most part it is) but the lack of native support for something as popular as Netflix is ridiculous.

to be fair I am also a bit puzzled as to why Netflix is such a major concern to people.
Most of the people who have invested in the Aura, the first device of its kind really, would typically also already have a Smart Tv, Smart phone, Tablet or Laptop.
All of these offer Netflix, and the Aura allows you to cast directly to it.
I'm always wary of any technology that tries to incorporate everything in one, as it's bound to go wrong.
The firmware already has enough bugs, without trying to incorporate yet another complex piece of software. I would rather wait until it can be incorporated without issue and use all of the other options instead

In that case, Humax shouldn't be using blurb like this:-

From live TV, on-demand and your favourite apps, Aura brings together all the entertainment you love in one place. The Android TV homepage is fully customisable, allowing you to choose which apps and content you'd like front and centre.

    Or this:-

Download all your favourite apps and games from Google Play
. Including Amazon Prime Video, Apple TV, BT Sport, Disney+, and over 20,000 titles on Google Play Movies.

It's very easy for customers to be mislead into thinking that the box does more than it does.

Agree 100% - absolute lies, Oh sorry, I forgot, it is called marketing.

A bit like the old quote -

How can you tell a car salesman is telling lies?

    When his lips are moving!

I didn't realise you could cast Netflix to the Aura - how do I do that?

    How to cast Netflix.

    https://help.netflix.com/en/node/49

I am guessing that the Aura will then show up on the list of available devices.

Has anybody got this to work? I don't get any cast icon on my Netflix phone app - I do on iPlayer, YouTube etc but not on Netflix

SSThing regularly posts about the Aura despite apparently having no experience of using the Aura, which is totally unhelpful.

There's no "apparently" about it, don't have one and don't want one.
But what exactly is your point?
The question was asked and I posted a link to the Netflix 'cast' instructions, which, if the Aura worked like most other devices, should work for Mark.
If it doesn't, I don't see any solution from yourself.
I think you will find that "totally unhelpful" is your method of offering no help at all.
