    Well, good news is that ITVX is on the play store for the Aura, but now for the bad news, every time I launch the app or crashes....

    The same app works on my Samsung phone...

    Does it work for anyone else?

    Well, good news, the ITVX App is on the Play Store for the Aura... But the bad news is, it crashes every time I click on it.....

    The same app works fine on my Samsung phone.

    Does it work for anyone else?

    Where is the information on PlayStore that says the version there is suitable for Aura?

    Apparently ITVX goes live tomorrow (8th) according to a post from someone else. You can install it just now but it does not work and you get a pop up stating that “the manufacturer and/or operating system provider for this device has not secured the necessary rights for this application”. It doesn’t work and I don’t expect it to work on the Aura even after the 8th. A bit like how Apple TV app also doesn’t work. The aura has been unofficially unsupported for over 12 months.

    I don’t think it’s relevant is it? If you can install the app it’s suppose to work in my opinion.

    ITV Hub changed seamlessly to ITVX a couple of weeks ago on my Roku device.

    I purchased a Humax Aura Freeview 2gig box. I do not have any Sky or Virgin services. The new ITV X App appeared on my Aura box but is not working with the same message as previously discussed in other messages. though the ITV Hub App is still there and working, it has not been replaced with ITV X. ITV Hub no longer works on my 4K Panasonic TV so I purchased a ROKU device recently from QVC that has ITV X which is working.
    I am disappointed that my 15 month Aura is not supported to receive ITV X

    As predicted. ITVX now officially live and officially unsupported on the Aura. If/when ITV HUB goes, that’ll be it!
