You seem to be really grappling with this.
All I have done is suggest that Humax's advice to you is flawed, as is your "45% signal strength is too low" comment.
And I absolutely don't care whether you or Humax initiated the signal strength conversation, it's irrelevant. But it's obvious that at some point you told them a % figure (again 90/91/96 is irrelevant other than they then implied it was too high) and they suggested they send you an attenuator and tune it down to 85%.
If you read my replies properly instead of just scanning, you will see that I don't agree that the attenuator is a fix for the 2ch/5.1ch dropouts other than suggesting a slight possibility that the additional processing is perhaps causing a bottleneck.

I was trying to help the original poster. All you want to do is score points about who is right.
Let me assure you I don't care about anything you have said or the mean spirit in which you have delivered it.

Wow, your feelings really are delicate if you have managed to read any mean spirit into anything I have said.
But don't worry, I'm bored with trying to help you now, so you can can have your safe space back.| Mon 16 Aug 2021 11:19:14 #13 | -

But don't worry, I'm bored with trying to help you now, so you can can have your safe space back.Oh you were ‘helping’ me were you?! Help isn't help unless it's asked for. That was patronising. Well I found your superior tone insulting. 'but hey if you want to listen to Humax' You couldn’t resist the final insult that you ‘are bored with me now’. "so you can have your safe space back" WTF! You just alienated people with that sort of comment.
I was trying to help the OP. I was trying to suggest that 45% signal was possibly too low. You didn’t like that. Where was your actual concrete advice or help to the OP? You thought it was bad advice. OR maybe you didn’t like the fact that I had listened to Humax and NOT YOU.
You made all sorts of assumptions about my conversation with Humax which were wrong. Then you said ‘I don’t care if you or Humax initiated the conversation’ when I corrected you.
Then the final insult “your feelings must be really delicate”. I can tell when I'm being insulted mate, don't you worry.
You are an overbearing bully. I would complain about you to an invigilator of this forum if I could find one.
