Can confirm the above edit works. I recompiled the APK with PRV-E and we’re watching Netflix again. I guess I’m not allowed to post a link to the APK.

Good news, there’s a fix. I’ll build a new APK this afternoon. The fix is in page 41 of the XDA thread at the beginning of this topic.

I can confirm the NFANDROID1-PRV-E-FVP4KGTR-HUMAXDIGITALFVP4KGTR-15265 for Humax Aura works
    Changed PRV-0 to PRV-E
(I'm in UK, VPN bypassing Netflix)
If you're struggling follow the build 3844 instructions on page 1 - download BatchApktool and go from there
To get ESN follow the Netflix Certification Bypass Patcher 1.E14 instructions to get this (again on page 1).
Use the ESN in the BatchApktool method, changing the PRV-0 to PRV-E, and making sure the last - is kept
    So: "NFANDROID1-PRV-E-FVP4KGTR-HUMAXDIGITALFVP4KGTR-15265-"
Uninstall old version on device and install new APK with adblink or similar
    Thanks to all!

    Many thanks for sorting this.

Just need a 4k version now.

Crappy isn't it. Even more crappy how Humax and Netflix haven't sorted out an official app.

FWIW I've just emailed Humax support querying their Netflix plans, and the email bounced back due to the mailbox being full. Useless.

I just don't understand what the issue is between Humax and Netflix. I mean, the users are desperate for an app, Humax must want it in order to attract more Aura purchasers, and Netflix must too as it means more paying subscribers for them!

It must be a contractual issue, but... why?

Is there a way of getting Netflix working any more? I had used the xda method which for a few months but now has stopped working

The modded XDA APK method is dead for now but there is hope.

User Ekay42 on the XDA thread has modified a copy of KODI with the Netflix plugin built in. It can be installed in parallel to an existing KODI installation.

    KODI Netflix News

I've grabbed it but not had chance to check it in VirusTotal and install it.

It’s back! Netflix is back on my Aura courtesy of Netflix-Kodi-edition-1.01-en.APK

The interface is Kodi but hey, it plays. See attached pic
