Thanks. Yes OK now. The product manual is not that informative though.

Interesting to note Humax haven't even bothered to change the text printed on the circuit board. Still reads 'FVP-4000T'...On my unit maybe, production units might be different
Not at all unusual in the electronics assembly business. Same board can often accommodate a change in components, so why scrap it.

Is anyone else experiencing issues with All4 (On Demand)?
I've tried to view several programs, however it plays the adverts fine and the sponsorship clip, then just sits with a black screen. The timeline shows 00:00 of 00:15, but nothing happens no matter how long it's left, despite trying to pause and play again, etc.
It then eventually presents me with an error message: All4-011: This content is currently unavailable. Please try again later.
Any ideas?

Hi Barry.
A couple of questions for you.
The manual on the Humax website doesn't mention "smart tuning", does the 5000 have this feature?
In the picture of the hardware can you say what the two items connected by the white cables, (one right side and one front), are? Thanks, David.

Thanks, David.Assuming you mean the lid off photo. They will be the two usb ports. If the 4000T has smart tuning it then Humax will not have omitted it from the updated software.

David...
Yes to smart retune.
I think the two items connected by white wires are the wifi antennas

Hi,
I am thinking of getting the updated 5000 version but is there really no difference in hardware from the 4000? Is it worth paying extra for the updated box if the hardware is the same?
The comments do seem to suggest that the 5000 box is far better but is that down to the version of software?
Thanks

Thanks Barry.
I'm hoping some of the improvements will come to the 4000.
Any news?David
